Está todo mundo animado com as Citi Bikes aqui em NY. O sistema de bike share está disponível 24 horas, 7 dias por semana em Manhattan e no Brooklyn e se tornou uma das melhores formas para explorar a cidade.

Sempre vejo as pessoas comentando que vão passear no Central Park e cruzar a ponte do Brooklyn de bicicleta e não consigo deixar de questionar: E por que o Hudson River Park e Battery Park não estão, também, no seu roteiro? Esta é a minha área preferida em toda a cidade e, também, a mais bonita na minha humilde opinião. Local relativamente tranquilo e lindo para correr, jogar tênis ou basquete, andar de skate e patins, levar as crianças ao parquinho, tomar sol tranquilamente durante o verão.. E isso tudo com o bônus de poder ter essa experiência ao lado do Rio Hudson.

Recomendo começar o seu passeio em Chelsea, por volta da Rua 26 e ir descendo em direção ao sul da ilha até o fim do Battery Park e do Financial District. Separei uma galeria com algumas fotos para inspirar aqueles que ainda não conhecem ou não tiveram a chance de explorar essa área. Everyone is excited with the recent implementation of Citi Bikes here in NY. The bike share system is available 24/7 in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and is one of the best ways to explore the city.

I always see people commenting that there are going to take a bike ride in Central Park and cross the Brooklyn Bridge, and I just cant help asking: Why isn’t the Hudson River and Battery parks also included in your “tour?” This is my favorite part in the entire city, and the prettiest one in my opinion. It’s relatively calm, a gorgeous place to go for a run, play tennis or basketball, go roller blading, take the kids to some of their nice playgrounds, tan during the summer… Bonus: all with the Hudson River right next to you.

I recommend starting your ride around 26th Street in Chelsea, and head South all the way to Battery Park and the Financial District.  I selected a few images to inspire the ones who haven’t had the chance to explore the area yet. Hope you like it.
