Com 197 quartos, nasce mais um hotel estilo “boutique” aqui em NY.  O Refinery Hotel fica no Garment District de NY, bairro onde encontra-se tudo relacionado `a moda. Antigamente, as fábricas de confecção ficavam nessa área e hoje é o local dos showrooms e escritórios das grandes marcas. Também encontra-se lojas de tecidos, aviamentos e a faculdade de moda, Parsons The New School of Design.

Refinery Hotel se instalou em uma antiga fábrica de chapéus e carrega o tema dos anos vinte na sua decoração, onde as inspirações vem da era da industrialização. O lobby apresenta máquinas de costura e ferramentas de fabricação de chapéus como seus itens decorativos.

Outros aspectos interessantes desse hotel são, o bar que fica em um antigo salão de chá e o rooftop lounge, onde servem drinks para apreciar a vista do Empire State Building. O hotel é localizado perto do Bryant Park, Macy’s, New York Public Library e vários outros pontos de compras.

197 rooms and another boutique hotel is born in NY. The Refinery Hotel is located in New York’s Garment District, a neighborhood where everything fashion related can be found. Back in the day, this was where sewing factories were located. Now it is the home of many brands’ showrooms and offices. Fabric and trim shops are also found in this area, as well as the fashion school, Parsons The New School of Design.

Refinery Hotel is now renovated and settled in an old hat factory, which carries the theme of the 1920s with inspirations from the Industrial Age. The lobby has old sewing machines and hat making tools as decorative pieces.

Another interesting aspect of this hotel is their bar that used to be an antique tea saloon and their rooftop lounge, where you can enjoy cocktails with a view to the Empire State Building. The hotel is located from a walking distance from Bryant Park, Macy’s, New York Public Library, and other excellent shopping spots.
