Brazil Foundation Gala

A festa de gala do Brazil Foundation aconteceu ontem a noite com a presença de brasileiros, americanos e uma turma super fashion para ajudar a angariar fundos para os projetos  sociais do Brazil Foundation. Foi uma noite animada, que começou com um jantar e um leilão apresentados por Pedro Andrade e pela atriz Luisa Moraes no museu MoMa e terminou com um after-party no recém-inaugurado Bar Nana no Meatpacking District.

Olivier Theyskens foi um dos anfitriões e desenhou o vestido que Luisa Moraes estava usando para a noite.  A designer de joias Carla Amorim doou um belíssimo par de brincos que estava sendo usado pela atriz Kelly Rutherford e que foi leiloado em prol da instituição. Os designer de joias brasileiros Ana Khouri, Jack Vartanian e Silvia Furmanocich também doaram peças para o leilão. A modelo Izabel Goulard usou um belíssimo vestido desenhado por Francisco Costa da Calvin Klein. A grande maioria das mulheres mais bem-vestidas da noite estavam usando Valentino, entre elas Nicky Hilton, Sofía Sanchez Barrenechea, Charlotte Ronson, Lauren Remington Platt, Genevieve Jones, Anh Duong e Jessica Joffe.

Entre os presentes também estavam  o ex-técnico da seleção Carlos Alberto Parreira, as atrizes Mariana Ximenes, Luana Piovani, e Regina Case.

Brazil Foundation Gala happened last night with Brazilians, Americans and a very fashionable crowd gathering together to help raise money for the Brazil Foundation causes. It was a fun night that started with a dinner and auction presented by Pedro Andrade and actress Luisa Moraes at the Moma museum, and ended with an after-party at the newly opened Bar Nana in the Meatpacking District.

Olivier Theyskens was one of the co-hosts and designed the dress Luisa Moraes was wearing for the night. Brazilian jewelry designer Carla Amorim donated the earrings that actress Kelly Rutherford was wearing to be auctioned.  Brazilian jewelry designers Ana Khouri, Jack Vartanian, and Silvia Furmanocich also donated pieces to be auctioned. Designer Francisco Costa from Calvin Klein designed the gorgeous dress Brazilian model Izabel Goulard wore for the event and after-party.  The vast majority of the best-dressed ladies of the night were wearing Valentino – Nicky Hilton, Sofía Sanchez Barrenechea, Charlotte Ronson, Lauren Remington Platt, Genevieve Jones, Anh Duong, and Jessica Joffe.

Among the attendees were also Brazilian soccer coach Carlos Alberto Parreira, actress Mariana Ximenes, Luana Piovani, and Regina Case.
