Written by , Posted in ART, DESIGN, FASHION, TRAVEL

O MOCA, The Museum of Chinese in America, esta com duas exposições fashion imperdíveis.

The Museum of Chinese in America has two exhibitions going on at the moment related to China and their fashion influences. One, Shanghai Glamour: New Women 1910s-40s, shows the influence of Western dress on Shanghai fashion from the 1910s to 1940s, a period before designer names were established in China; the other, Front Row: Chinese American Designers, focuses on designers of the last 30 years, who are now stars in the United States (Alexander Wang, Jason Wu, Vera Wang, Anna Sui), and increasingly so in China.
